2021 School Age Summer Camp at FHH Swiss Street Campus

Categories: Now Offering

Summer; are you imagining beaches, barbeques, swimming, sunblock, bug spray, long days, warm nights, road trips, and travel? As the second COVID summer, we know many are also looking forward to more opportunities to be outdoors, being out and about and reuniting with loved ones.

For our families with children, summer means summer camp; more time with friends, soaking up the sunshine here at Federal Hill House or down the street at the Zuccolo pool, keeping cool with water play on our playground or with science and arts activities in the cool air inside, and field trips to tell all your school friends about. Summer camp lets parents go to work knowing their children are taken care of and having a good time, and not having to worry about providing food for the day.

The fun never ends when it’s summer and learning doesn’t have to end either. We have adopted the BellXcel curriculum and our certified teachers will provide daily instruction in reading, writing and math to minimize learning loss often associated with the summer break from school as well as being out of school due to COVID and distance learning. Our core programming will be enriched with sports, science, and arts activities as well as twice weekly field trips. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.

Our school age summer camp program is for children entering grades 1-6 (ages 5-12) and takes place Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4pm in the new home for our School Age Child Care (SACC) program on our FHH Swiss Street Campus at 35 Swiss Street. Before and after care is available 7am-8:30am and 4pm-5:30pm. The program starts Wednesday, June 30th and ends Wednesday, September 1st. We will be closed for July 5th to recognize Independence Day. For program fees, we accept Department of Human Services (DHS) child care payments and private pay tuition.
